Less than a minutes stroll from the restaurants, bars, cafes, markets & ferries to a whole array of activities and some of the most quiet & beautiful beaches in the Eastern Algarve.

We had a fabulous stay at Olhao house. This has to be the best Airbnb accommodation we’ve stayed in. Sarah and Richard have made it feel like a home from home with thoughtful touches ; fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for home cooking ( draw full of herbs and spices, coffee for the machine as well as plentiful crockery and cutlery). There was a generous welcome pack of local goodies and good quality toiletries /fluffy towels in the bathrooms as well as beach towels and umbrella which made it easy to travel with hand luggage. The house is beautifully decorated, homely and in a quiet location very close to the harbour and easy walking distance to the island ferries and good restaurants (recommend Vai e Volta just around the corner for lunch). Lovely terrace areas for eating/cooking/enjoying the sunshine. Friendly welcome from Sarah who kindly let us check in early and out late. Communication was proactive but not intrusive. 100% recommend and hope to return

This place was just perfect! The house is so beautiful and has so many wonderful details. We stayed a week and had the perfekt holiday, taking the ferry out to the island every other day to sunbath an swim in the sea, then enjoying the house and rooftop the next day. Sarah was there to recieve us in person and left an incredible welcoming package, beer, wine, cheese, chips, cockolate, coffee, lots more. Supermarket is near, lots of good restaurants (again, advise from Sarah) and the bed a dream to sleep in. I hope to come there again and spend a longer time. 🙏🏼

Amazing, quirky place to stay, very Portuguese and a stones throw away from the beautiful centre, promenade, shops & restaurants. 5 star, beautiful & clean and furnished to a very high standard with lovely touches. An amazing supermodel 2 min walk away, stocked with everything you would need. Olhao is a beautiful, Portuguese town with delightful cobbled streets and authentic restaurants. The beaches on the islands are definitely worth visiting and have the most amazing beaches. Absolutely loved the place, everything about it 🥰

This is a really lovely AirB&B. We loved it. The house is gorgeously styled, very comfortable and with many lovely touches, that feel more like a 5 star hotel - slippers, dressing gowns to wear and lovely soaps, gels in the bathroom. The roof terrace is gorgeous and a great place to BBQ, sun bathe or chill with a book. Sarah, our host, was extremely welcoming and friendly throughout and on arrival. She also provided a welcome pack of bread, butter, eggs, crisps wine - it was very generous and much appreciated. The house is on a quiet side road, but only 5 min walk to the main area, shops, restaurants and ferries to Armona. Can't recommend it highly enough for a couple looking to explore Olhao and Armona.

"The house is absolutely lovely and the hosts Sarah and Richard are nothing short of amazing. We loved the very well decorated home, it was super cozy and had all the little details to make your stay great - very clean, well decorated, great bed, super well equipped kitchen, lovely terrace with barbecue dining area and sunbeds. Location is great, walking distance from supermarkets, great restaurants and boats to the islands nearby. On top of all that, Sarah and Richard were super attentive, and added a lot of lovely touches like leaving us breakfast for the day after we arrive and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay like coffee, tea, olive oil and spices for cooking, sun shade for us to take to the beach, and a lot of other things you need but often forget to bring! We had a lovely week and definitely recommend this place!

"Our stay in Sarah & Richard's beautiful Olhao House was absolutely magnificent! First we were already very impressed by photos and description on Airbnb, but upon arrival we were absolute speechless. The house is so well restored, furnished and decorated. There are so many lovely and well thought details, the location is very quiet though being in the middle of Olhao's historical city center. Sarah & Richard's hospitality is just lovely, providing a very generous welcome package and lots of different extras like bathrobes, slippers, beach accessories, toiletries, a fully equipped kitchen and many other amenities making us feel home very quickly. Never before did we really 'live' in an Airbnb this much and even though there are great restaurants, we only visited them for lunch and preferred having dinner 'at home'. Olhao House is clearly a 10/5 stars place that you need to enjoy in all of it's glory!"
